Flowers

Today is the big Festival of Flowers Day except that I had totally forgotten about it. We were too busy working in our own garden today. I know that sounds crazy considering it is 100 degrees, litteraly. But we were still out there gardening. I was so excited when I turned a corner and saw that the lillies we planted a few weeks ago started blooming. Here is the very first flower from my plant. Then all of a sudden it hit me...it's Festival of Flowers...Let's go to the park!!! I snapped a few pics of the boys who were more interested in running all over the place than posing for Mommy. Ice cream was in order after all that heat...no photos of the ice cream though. I was too busy eating.

A Very Hot Summer Day

Gotcha! I know. Here you are thinking these would be some cool outdoor or water photos but when the heat index is around 115 to 120 the only place we want to be is indoors with some air-conditioning. So, how do we keep two very busy and energetic boys busy??? We bring out the paint and make a total mess. Here are some photos of that one very hot Summer day.

Big sister-to-be...

This very pretty little girl is about to be a big sister. I am not sure she knows what to think about it but I am sure once baby girl is here she is going to be a great big sister.

We had a great laugh photographing this sweet baby girl. Let's just say when nature calls we answer! I am so excited for all the new changes in this family's life. One of my favorite photos is the one of the the belly. Just a reminder of the connection a mother and baby have.

Happy First Birthday Austin!

This precious little guy was so sweet to share his toys with my boys while I took his photos. We took some indoor photos with his awesome birthday gift while we waited for the rain to pass and then we went outside for some more shots. The mosquitos and the foggy lens stopped us short but we all had a fun time. Happy birthday Austin!
